Every child deserves the chance to play, compete, and celebrate their abilities.

Sports have the power to build confidence, encourage teamwork, and create opportunities for children to discover their strengths beyond limitations. Inclusive sporting experiences foster self-belief, promote social interaction, and remind us that every child deserves an equal opportunity to participate and thrive.

As part of its commitment to inclusive community development, SMART Foundation, in collaboration with Ladies Circle, organised an Inclusive Sports Event at the Model School, NIEPMD, for 120 children with multiple disabilities. The sporting activities were thoughtfully designed based on each child's abilities, ensuring that every participant had the opportunity to engage, enjoy, and showcase their unique strengths in a safe and encouraging environment.

More than a sporting event, the initiative celebrated resilience, determination, and inclusion. By creating accessible opportunities for participation, the programme strengthened confidence, encouraged social interaction, and reinforced the importance of building communities where every child feels valued, respected, and included.

SMART Foundation remains committed to creating inclusive spaces where children are empowered to learn, grow, participate, and realise their full potential through meaningful community engagement.
