On 4th March 2026, SMART Foundation, in collaboration with SRM University, organised a Legal Awareness Camp for the Irular community in Chengalpattu, focusing on women's and children's rights.
The programme aimed to promote legal literacy by creating awareness about fundamental rights, legal protections, and the importance of accessing support systems. Through interactive sessions, participants were encouraged to make informed decisions, seek justice when needed, and build safer, more empowered communities.
