Essentials, Without the Paperwork
Hygiene and sanitary kits delivered directly, based on recorded need
Most support schemes for persons with disabilities are accessible in theory and unreachable in practice. They require a visit to an office, a queue, a form, and a follow-up visit, which is a sequence that assumes the applicant can travel independently.
SMART Foundation distributes sanitary and hygiene essentials directly to differently-abled individuals and their households, with no queuing and no paperwork. Kits are assembled based on the specific needs recorded during assessment camps, so the contents match the person rather than a standard template.
Distribution runs on a rolling basis through local volunteers and community contacts, reaching housebound beneficiaries at home.
