On 10 July 2023, SMART Foundation distributed UPS (uninterruptible power supply) units to 21 beneficiaries at NIEPMD, Chennai, with support from United Way Chennai.
The initiative builds on SMART Foundation's earlier UPS support with United Way Chennai and reflects a simple belief: practical support, delivered where it is needed, makes daily life easier for persons with disabilities and their families.
