CSR support
On 21 July 2022, SMART Foundation provided UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems to the Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC), Lucknow, a Government of India institution. The support was made possible through the CSR scheme of United Way Chennai.
Power cuts can disrupt therapy sessions, training and day-to-day services at a disability centre. The UPS support helps the centre keep its services running for more than 100 beneficiaries.
